Abe Herrera-Owner/Guide
Abe is a local kayaker from Baeza, Ecuador, and has been paddling since 2007. After discovering kayaking in the United States, he returned home to explore Ecuador’s rivers and help grow the national kayaking community. Abe is an experienced instructor, river advocate, and passionate teacher.
Ripping around with Abe is one of the best ways to experience Ecuador. He knows the rivers intimately and brings deep knowledge of local culture, adventure, and food, making him an outstanding guide on and off the water.
Carlos corral- Guide
Carlos is a local kayaker from Tena, Ecuador. He has been kayaking and guiding since 2019. Introduced to the sport by his brother at a young age, Carlos learned the hard way—building toughness and strong skills early on. His favorite run is the Upper Río Tena when the water is high.
Carlos spends as much time on the river as possible, where he feels most free. He loves being immersed in nature and is always ready for the next adventure.
Jordan Espinosa-guide
Jordan is a local kayaker from Tena, Ecuador, with eight years of experience on the country’s rivers. He fell in love with rivers as a child floating with his family and discovered kayaking after seeing a group on the water. Jordan believes rivers are vital to life and strives to share that passion with others.
His favorite run is the Jondachi, known for its lush jungle scenery and exciting whitewater. An excellent guide and teacher, Jordan also knows all the best spots in Tena, both on and off the river.
