Join Boof Sessions on our Class I–II kayak tour, where we focus on improving rolling, paddling technique, and overall comfort on the river. This seven-day journey through Ecuador’s rivers blends skill progression with rich cultural experiences for an unforgettable introduction to whitewater kayaking.

This trip is designed for beginner paddlers who:
Have experience on Class I–II rivers
Are still developing their roll, paddle strokes, river-reading, and whitewater skills
Are excited to learn, build confidence, and experience adventure on Ecuador’s rivers

Day 1 : Welcome to Ecuador! Breakfast & transfer to Baeza (2 hour ride) or Tena (3 hour ride). Check in at lodge, lunch, kayak outfitting, roll and kayak assessment followed by dinner.
Day 2 : Upper Tena River- Getting comfortable upside down, exiting your kayak and beginner paddle strokes.
Day 3 : Upper Tena River- Work on similar skills with an emphasis on rolling and assisted rescues in a beautiful setting.
Day 4 : Lower Napo River- River running and learning to read whitewater.
Day 5 : Middle Mishaulli River- Practicing all the skills you’ve learned so far on a new mellow section.
Day 6 : Middle Mishaulli River- Run it back and step up your lines.
Day 7: Jatun Yacu (Hah-toon-YAH-koo) River- Grand finale, try out all your new skills on a beautiful, Amazonian river.Leave to Airport:
If time allows, we can head to Papallacta hot springs. When the sky is clear catch a view of Volcan Antisana one of the many striking Volcanoes in the area.
