  • This trip is designed for confident Class IV paddlers who:

    • Regularly run solid Class IV whitewater and are beginning to look toward Class V

    • Feel confident boofing, catching eddies, and executing strong ferries

    • Have an instinctive, reliable combat roll—swimming in Ecuadorian Class IV is not a fun option

    • Are excited by high adventure and prepared for big, physical days on the river

  • Day 1 : Welcome to Ecuador! Breakfast & transfer to Baeza (2 hour ride) or Tena (3 hour ride). Check in at lodge, lunch, kayak outfitting, roll and kayak assessment followed by dinner.


    Day 2: Chaconito + Bon Bon Warm Up- First day shaking out the jet leg and getting a taste of the Baeza classic.


    Day 3: Cosanga- Lush, wild canyon with exotic bird life and challenging rapids.


    Day 4: - Upper Mishaulli- Jungle creeking with some amazing boofs and drops.


    Day 5 : Jondachi- A favorite among locals and visitors!


    Day 6 : Piatua- Navigating through smooth boulders on crystal clear blue water.


    Day 7: Chaco Canyon- Grand finale in our favorite canyon on the Quijos with the famous Torro Rapid.

    Leave to Airport:

    If time allows, we can head to Papallacta hot springs. When the sky is clear catch a view of Volcan Antisana one of the many striking Volcanoes in the area.

      -City of Tena Lodging: Orchid Paradise Hosteria or Villa Belen

      *All rooms are shared rooms. $250 Surcharge per week for a private room
