Thankfully for Us we are located Ian a very privileged area where we don’t have any issues , 1.5 hours from the UIO airport and we are surrounded by mountains and rivers.

International news have made it sound very treacherous to come to Ecuador. The Coast is been impacted by a delinquency wave and some cartels. Thankfully the jungle side, where most of the kayaking happens, has no issues or reported incidents of active crime.

The jungle side has its own issues we deal with like illegal mining and such, but we still say we feel safe out in the countryside and chasing rivers around the NAPO province where all of our kayaking activities develop.
